In the era when Pac Man was obsessed with ghosts and power pellets, in real life, the end of all things threatened to rain down from a network of killer satellites. And then came Perestrokia, Glasnost and the end of the  Soviet Union. It was hailed as the New World Order. Peace at last. Prosperity of all.

Such was the dream.

Now the spectre has again arisen. In an ever more interconnected world, where control of data dictates the rise and fall of fortunes and empires, the old foes have re-emerged from their slumber. The winners in this struggle will dictate the fortunes of a whole new generation.
