Hamish is an award winning comedian, actor, and author. As part of the comedy duo Hamish and Andy, he has performed live and on television and radio. Hamish and Andy’s Gap Year won a Logie, and he further won the Gold Logie for Most Popular Personality on Television.

In addition to acting in movies, he’s also appeared on many TV programs including Spicks and Specks, Rove and Thank God You’re Here.

With his hectic schedule, we finally managed to meet one December morning at the building site, ducking out for a quick breakfast before he was off to Sydney and then away for a month. Later, along with the rest of Australia, I found out why he had so little time; he got married later that day in a secret ceremony before just 22 people.

And what did we talk about? Well, on that morning his biggest concern was that the builders each get a slab of beer delivered for Christmas.
